The EtherCAT Library for LabVIEW offers a Windows-based EtherCAT Master library, enabling automation tasks using the Ethernet for Control Automation Technology (EtherCAT) fieldbus in LabVIEW. This add-on allows direct control of EtherCAT slaves via a standard Ethernet port on a Windows PC. It supports real-time process data exchange with LabVIEW using buffers, up to a 10 kHz bus cycle. You can also read and write configuration data using Control Area Network (CAN) over EtherCAT. Furthermore, the EtherCAT Library for LabVIEW provides access to slave memory, Electrically Erasable Programmable ROM (EEPROM), and an object dictionary, and supports file transfer and distributed clocks.
