If you’re like me, you recognize that there’s nothing groundbreaking about a board with a band and a stick. It does offer lots of versatility and exercise options, but paying upwards of $500-$600 for something like this is insane! That’s why I decided to offer a more reasonably priced option that doesn’t compromise on quality whatsoever. The footplate is 30 x 12 inches which exceeds the average size significantly, allowing you to stand or kneel comfortably without the band rubbing against you. One of the main considerations when sizing this footplate was compatibility with The Squat Harness V3, making this one of the most versatile sets on the market! Get the entire set for $299 or get the footplate by itself for $179 and each additional item ala carte. The bar and handles are aluminum with steel eyelets. Instead of going with a big hook on the bar to load the bands, I went with nylon adjustable length straps that are safer and more secure, causing less contact wear and tear over time. The foot plate also comes with a foam kneeling pad for kneeling overhead presses and other exercises*. All in all, you won’t find a better value or a more straightforward setup. *Please use caution with standing exercises such as overhead presses. Because the footplate is wider than normal, the bands might not have as much overhead range of motion. Consider doing kneeling overhead presses instead of standing presses.
