This high-quality friction tape is made from low-stretch cotton, coated on each side with electrical-grade, solvent-free, rubber adhesive –– making it durable and long-lasting for up to 5 years. The tape is designed to stick only to itself and provides mechanical protection to cables, connections, and wire splices insulated with rubber electrical tape. RoHS and Prop 65 compliant, the heavy-duty cotton has low stretch and high resistance to breakage. Cotton friction tape provides extra protection from sharp edges and abrasion. It is an ideal tape for heavy-duty binding, bundling, and wire harnessing. For excellent protection for cables, connections, and wire splices, choose 3M™ Temflex™ Cotton Friction Tape 1755.
