25.4mm Zero Order Wave Plate by Tower Optical

Tower's Zero Order Waveplates offer high-performance Crystal Quartz retarders with a 23mm clear aperture. These air-spaced waveplates, featuring a stainless steel spacer between two crystal quartz plates, exhibit minimal temperature sensitivity and superior thermal stability. They are less prone to failures and offer accurate angular alignment. Crafted from laser-quality Crystal Quartz and AR coated, these waveplates are available unmounted (25.4mm diameter) or mounted in a 30mm anodized aluminum ring with a 23mm clear aperture. Standard wavelengths range from 266 to 1550nm, with custom options available. Specifications include a waveplate thickness range of 0.3 to 2.0mm, wavefront distortion of /10 @ 632.8nm, and a retardation tolerance of 0.005 waves @ 632.8nm. They are AR coated, with a damage threshold of 1 kW/cm2-CW, 3.5 J/cm2 @10 ns, and diameters of 25.4mm (unmounted) or 30mm (mounted). Custom orders are welcome.
